A web and mobile game design company located in the Torrance area is looking for a fun and talented Visual Designer. The ideal candidate will be able to tap into their inner-child to help design cool and engaging games for well-know entertainment clients.
Responsibilities:
*Use wireframes as a launching point for designs.
*Be able to follow set style guides based off clients needs
*Create visual designs using Flash / Photoshop / Illustrator.
*Working closely with the Creative Director for input and art direction.
*Developing graphics within specific technical guidelines, when necessary.
*Implementing final designs into our Flash template as well as replacing functional (FPO) graphics.
*Optimizing final design assets to help ensure the best file size for the end product.
Requirements:
*Genuine interest in games and gaming.
*Able to show at least 2-4 years of work designing in Flash / Photoshop / Illustrator
*Examples of creating designs from a wireframe.
*Examples of creating designs across a wide range of brands/sub-brands.
*Ability to revise designs and/or direction based off of feedback provided.
*Strong layout and typography skills.
Desired:
*Previous game art experience.
*Kid-friendly examples.
*Flash animation experience.
*Motion design experience.
*Experience designing iOS Apps (iPhone & iPad).
